K-6 Cyber is NOW Available Through SSD

The SSD is NOW OFFERING a K-6 Cyber option for our Scranton School District Community. Complete this form if you are interested in having your K - 6th grade student attend our Cyber school.

2021-2022 PJAS Registration Flyer with Form Link

Students in grades 7 and 8 who are interested in joining PJAS for the 2021-2022 school year, please read through the attached flyer and fill out the linked registration form prior to our first meeting, which will be held VIRTUALLY on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at 3:45pm.

PJAS is an after school program for science, math, and engineering. Students conduct experiments, collect data, and then present their findings at a competition in March. It starts next week and goes throughout the summer and the entire next school year.

We usually meet 4 times over the summer and once a week after school, starting in the fall. If you want more information you should fill out the form on the flyer and attend the virtual meeting on June 10th.

FCC’s Emergency Broadband Benefit

We are spreading the word about FCC’s Emergency Broadband Benefit, which provides discounts for broadband service and devices to families struggling to stay connected during the pandemic.

The Emergency Broadband Benefit will provide a discount of up to $50 per month toward broadband service for eligible families and households who are struggling to stay connected during the COVID19 pandemic. Eligible households can also receive a discount of up to $100 for the purchase of a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.

La Comisión Federal de Comunicaciones ha dado inicio a un programa temporal que ofrece ayuda a los hogares con problemas para pagar sus servicios de Internet durante la pandemia de COVID-19.
